Michael works with adults, adolescents and children. He has been practising psychology for nearly 20 years within the Department of Education, Youth at Risk, the Reach Foundation and in private practice.
His areas of expertise include: Depression, Anxiety, Relationship/Couples counselling, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Grief, Anger Management, Assertiveness, Conflict resolution, Communication skills, Self-esteem, Families, Parenting, Learning difficulties, Behavioural problems in children and adolescents and Sexual abuse.
Michael tests children and adolescents for Dyslexia, Written Dyspraxia and other learning difficulties. He provides Educational reports.
Michael worked in the Education system for over 20 years. He was employed for 12 years in Behavioural Intervention Unit assisting adolescents who experienced behavioural difficulties in changing their behaviours. He later worked as a psychologist with the Department of Education.
He was a facilitator and psychologist for the Youth at Risk organisation when it provided programs in Australia. Michael also volunteered for Youth at Risk programmes in Cincinnati, Liverpool, Belfast and Broadmeadows. He currently works as a sessional Youth Support Psychologist for the Reach Foundation.
